Molten USA Partner FUNDaFIELD Helps to ‘Pass it Forward’

Reno, NV – Molten USA has enjoyed a successful partnership this year with Kyle Weiss and the FUNDaFIELD organization. Weiss, founder of FUNDaFIELD, is a World of Children Award Honoree that created the organization to build soccer fields for vulnerable children in the developing world.

Often referred to as ‘The Nobel Peace Prize for child advocacy’, the World of Children Award has granted more than $6 million in cash grants and program support to more than 100 humanitarian leaders who are the driving force behind programs serving children worldwide. Weiss received the Youth Award from World of Children in 2012 for his exceptional work with children who have experienced conflict.

Molten and World of Children Award joined forces in August of 2014 through Molten’s Pass It Forward Program. One important element of the partnership is the annual selection of a World of Children Honoree to become a Pass it Forward Ambassador to assist with Molten’s mission to spread the joy of sport and play.

FUNDaFIELD’s affinity for spreading the love of sport to the world fell right in line with the goals of Molten’s Give Joy program, Pass It Forward. “FUNDaFIELD firmly believes in the power of sports to change the lives of children everywhere,” said Weiss. “Molten’s Pass it Forward program is the perfect platform to demonstrate the power of that idea.”

Pass it Forward aims to promote youth sport participation while encouraging conversation about important topics such as philanthropy, sportsmanship and accountability. Participants are given a ball and the instructions to ‘Play with it, Post about it, Pass it on.’ Pass it Forward encourages kids to be active participants in a global community and to lead healthy, active lifestyles. During their partnership, Molten provided FUNDaFIELD with 300 soccer balls and also gave Kyle and his team additional balls for every Pass it Forward application received from his organization. These balls were a perfect addition to the FUNDaFIELD mission of using sport to uplift those who have faced serious hardship in their lives. Kyle and his team of FUNDaFIELD members will continue to work with Molten to spread the message of Pass it Forward and help expand the program.

Molten would like to express gratitude to Kyle and the entire FUNDaFIELD community for their work to help inspire youth to be active through the Pass it Forward program. Molten looks forward to continuing the partnership with World of Children with the selection of a new Pass it Forward Ambassador in fall of 2015.
